Alfa Laval SMP-BCA Valve
The aseptic version of Alfa Laval's SMP mixproof valve is called SMP-BCA, which is designed for use under mixproof aseptic conditions and sterilization involving high temperatures.
The straightforward design keeps liquids separate by using two seals on the same plug, with a leakage chamber in between. The PTFE / rubber diaphragm following the movement of the plug in the upper section of the valve body ensures that there is no increase in the concentration of microorganisms in the product during processing.
